ALAN HE is a NY-based writer, director, producer. and editor. He has years of writing, directing, and producing experience in short narrative, scripted TV, and various forms of media. Most notably, he has worked as a Producer for White Rhino Productions, producing ‘Red Skies’, ‘Sonder’, and ‘Evergreen’, seeing selections and awards at festivals such as HollyShorts, the London International Film Festival, Short of the Week, and more. Alan graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a B.F.A. in Film and Television, and a minor in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies. He was born and raised in Westchester, NY.

Alan’s writing and directorial festival debut, 'Ān-dé-lǔ’ is currently finding success in the festival circuit. It has screened at New York Shorts International Film Festival, Boston Asian American Film Festival and San Diego International Film Festival, and will screen at more.

Highly influenced by childhood and adolescence, Alan hopes to tell diverse and relatable stories that capture simple moments in life. He strives to celebrate Asian faces on screen.
